How to get help

I need financial help, what is my first step?

For our local community, we can connect you to local organizations and resources to provide direct support. We also encourage those who need help to check out the resources listed below. By knowing what is being offered by the State and National government, as well as local community organizations, we can gain a clear picture of the additional support available.

Within the congregation of Grace Community Church, the first step is to fill out the get help form.

Local resources in Johnson County

If you are needing assistance because of Covid 19 you may not know all the organizations that are here to help. Johnson County has compiled a list of all the organizations and ordered them by the type of assistance they offer. You can download their pdf here or you can follow this link to the website which includes a map to show you which organizations are closest to where you live.

Organizations like the local food banks are operating during Covid 19, but have changed the way you access their resources, so be sure to check out the organization's website to see if there is a Covid 19 update. For example, the local food banks are no longer offering an in building shopping experience, but are now providing drive up and delivery options.
