The Image of God

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them

Gen 1:27

In the book of Genesis chapter one, we're told that we were all created in God's image. Our value and worth is not in what we do, it's because He created each of us for His purposes. All of us are indispensable parts of the Body of Christ, created in God’s image, and worthy of dignity and respect.

Gen 1:27 helps families and children who are touched with special needs attend Sunday school, by offering a buddy to each child who needs extra help in the classroom. Additionally, our sensory room is available for when a child needs to take a break, or needs a smaller classroom environment with adult and peer buddies.

Seeing the love your families have for each other, and the joy your children find in seeing friends, being successful in the classroom, and worshipping God together as part of the one body is a blessing to the whole church.

And then the body of Christ, the church, would be made complete
