Ryan is originally from Rockford, IL and moved here in 2008 for a position at the University of Iowa. He worked in higher education for nine years, focused on student leadership development and event planning. Ryan joined our staff in 2015 as the Facilities Director. In 2023, Ryan took on a new role within the church as the Volunteer Engagement Director advising the CARE Team and SERT, recruiting volunteers, and overseeing the church office.

Ryan met his wife, Krystal, in 2010 and married in 2012. Shortly after they were married, they began attending Grace. Ryan and Krystal have four boys. You can find Ryan at a Hawkeye wrestling meet, fishing, or enjoying a PBJ sandwich. His motto: “Rock on to the fullest!”
