A biblical, solution-focused approach to counseling is used with a focus on helping clients to see themselves and their circumstances through God’s eyes. Counseling is focused on the here and now and driven by goals which are set in a collaborative process between client and counselor. Hope and compassion are the hallmarks of the counseling relationship at JCS.

Opportunities to directly volunteer are varied so contact them for specifics if you want to venture beyond the two suggested below.

Opportunities
  • There are always needs for specific types of donated items used by those staying at the shelter.  There is an updated list on their web.
  • Another ongoing need is providing an evening meal to the residences.  They serve 30-40 homeless men, women and children every night.  How to sign up with specific instructions is also located on their website.

Guat's Up Coffee

Guat’s Up? Coffee Roasters is the mission and passion of Mark & Julie Farmer.    From their first mission trip to Guatemala in 2017,  God planted a great desire for them to continually support the missions of Bethel Ministries and Mission: Mobility.

From that,  they invested in a coffee roaster and the rest is history.

As we prepare for our third mission trip with the church,  we are roasting coffee with the single mission of fundraising for our mission trip projects.

100% of all profits above the cost of raw beans will be donated to mission projects in Guatemala.
